I read your new post today over in the Distress Inks groups and I am writing to wish you well and HOPE very much your doctors will have some way help you continue to fight this batter!! I am so very sad and sorry to hear that your cancer has spread and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!! Cancer is such a scary illness and I can't even begin to imagine how you must be feeling right now!
I do, however, have many freinds and family who have also been struck by cancer and I know how awful this illness can be. I also HOPE that each day will get us one day closer to find a way to cure cancer ! It's such a dreadful illness and I'll seen so many fight your battle, including my own Mom and one of my very best freinds who are both Breast Cancer Survivors. I continue to hope and pray they will remain cancer-free and know that scare will always be there. It's just all seems so unfair and very heartbreaking.
Please know I will pray for a treatment and cure for you and all those who have to deal with this illness! My heart goes out to you!
NOTE: Although having Fibro can not even begin to compare to what you are dealing with, I can say that for me, crafts came into my life after I was diagnosed and to have Fibromyalgia and Disc Disease and I do love crafts and can relate in that way to it being an outlet for you.
You are doing awesome with yoru distress inks and I've found myself totally behind. I need to get back and track and hopefully can learn to use them as well as you have!
Hi Maz, My email is email@example.com I've been looking at all of the photos that have been imported, everyone is doing very well. I'm still waiting for supplies. We have a year to finish these classes, don/t we?
I'm learning a lot from the videos. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I've been working ion organizing my craft room, what a mess. I ordered so many unmounted stamps, that now I have to mount and file all of them, Thanks again. Sarah
Hi Maz, I love your work! I'm just beginning in this stamp stuff. I've been a quilter for years and need something different. I can't believe how long it has taken me to orainize all of this stuff. All the paints and stamps etc. I've been working on that for weeks.
What is the container you use for your reinkers? That is so clever. How wide is it? Thanks for any information you can give me.
I haven't started this project yet I'm waiting to get the pen and more of the distress inks and reinkers. Sarah
Yes, I'm over in Highgate Hill so I wa luckily enough to be up on the hill to avoid the floods. Yes it's been nasty, and I'm still not back at work. I work in teh CBD over on the Riverside area so our building is still getting their maintenance sorted before we can get in again, hopefully next week.
I'm takign the distress inks class so I'll see you there. I've already seen your pics and they're great!
Wow, I just read your profile. I never knew all that you've been through. I hope the coming year brings you much better health.
As for showing the 'oops' that I dealth with the other day, it's a tag that I'll be taking to CHA with me for display. I made about 60 of them for Diana's display and I doubt they will ever be shown on my blog. Sorry!
Maz I am so sorry that you had to deal with such an awful disease but it sounds like you are doing much better. I pray that each day brings you closer to a full recovery. Without sounding phony Maz your picture sure does not indicate what you have been through.
God Bless you.
I am going to have my hubby take some head shots of me and then I'll pick the one I like best so I can post it. Hugs, Fran
Hi, Maz. Thank you for the kind comments on my work and the friends invite. I think you are doing great on your water coloring. Of course we are all more criitcal of our own work, don't you think? I tend to be a perfectionist. That can be very unproductive at times...LOL
