Jennifer, thank you so much for your friend request.  I've been MIA for quite a long time here so I do apologize for this late response.  Hope you can forgive.  Love this angel card you did and I look forward to seeing more of your creations.  Do you also have a blog I can visit? enjoy your evening.

Hi Jennifer, Yes I think we will be smashing good friends. I've got an old notebook, and as I think of ideas, quotes, funny things, something to save,( i stapled 2 pages together and left it open on the top to use as a pocket, just anything, I jot it down and then when I have my book ready I go thru my old notebook and I have it all together to get started, and once I start, I can't seem to stop. Then I will slow down and maybe just work on it daily, with my cup of coffee while it is quite and usually jot down some journalism about what happened the day before. I keep a rubber-band and a lg envelope from junk mail on the top of the book, that way if I got something to save I stick it in the envelope and keep it all together. I still keep that old notebook for the next smash book, I just fold the pages that are used in half and keep it secured with paperclips or good old rubber-bands. Hope that tip helps you. Blessings friend, Carol

Hi Jennifer, I'm always glad to make a new friend. So how about your smash book. Did you buy it or make it? I'm making it homemade. I have bought them before as gifts and they are really nice and the paper is really beautiful, but I think when you make them, you can make them so much more personal and add a lot of things you don't get with the store bought kind, but, that's just my opinion. One is no better than the other. Glad to talk to you. Blessings, carol
