Hi Charlene! You need to have some. You can use any type of refill.....
I suggest the really light colors like B0000, B00, C00, C0, B70
Things like that to start. Or the colors that are comparable with Touch Twin which is cheaper. Suzannes resource page lists the colors in Touch Twin that match Copics :D You can start with just the markers for video 1 and 3, Thre are others that use stencils and texture plates. If you have basic watercolors- I do a video on a watercolor background - example here
and here is a sample of video 1 technique
and a sample of stencil technique
So there are a lot of techniques you can use while waiting for Touch twin. I think Carpe Diem Art is one of the cheapest for Touch Twin and Copic refills. I shouldn't say that since I am a DT for MarkerPOP! Shhhhh Just compare. I think Oozak is starting them too! :D
Hope to see you there... We have fun! (Shhh - we will be having a sale on Black Fri through Dec :D It's a secret! Also - love the butterfly on your finger :D
Hi Charlene! Any of the al hool inks work. Have you checked out Touch Twin my ShinHan? I am beginning to Colleen t them? Suzanne has them listed and shows what is compatible or comparable to Copic. They glide on and the dark colors do not get sticky like Copics. Suzanne also has a free group om Touch Twin. They are much cheaper. I am gradually shifting in that direction. They will ship all over the world..... Unlike Copic! Markerpop and Carpe Diem Rt sell the. Poss oozak..... We also use. Oleoresins pen Lis etc. we just have fun! Love to have you. But think about ShinHan. A least a dollar cheaper each!!!! Let me know if I did not answer your question!!!
