Touch Twin Marker Info

Starting July 1st I will be formally working with and for Shinhan Art/Touch Twin Markers!  This is the first alcohol marker that I feel competes with at the same level as Copics BUT CHEAPER!

Now this does not mean that I am abandoning Copics because I am not, but I am working with the Touch Twins as a good alternative.  That means if you are starting out with alcohol markers they are worth the investment.  If you already have a lot of Copics in your collection, well these will work with them...so you can add to your collection with different combos and such.

They are refillable and have dual ends including a brush nib.  Right now there are 168 colors and there are more new ones on the way!

I will be creating more resources and videos and will add them here for you all!  If you have any questions about them don't hesitate to ask me.  Also check out their site HERE!

How does Touch Twin Code their markers 1 Reply

I am trying to understand the coding?  As with Copics they are in a sequence, however I don't think Touch Twin is the same way, for example BR 98 dark brown, BR 96 lighter brown, but BR 92 is in…Continue

This is my TouchTwin Challenge card (go HERE to check out the challenge)!  I colored on my leaf stamp with TouchTwins in R1 & YR31 then spritzed lightly with rubbing alcohol and then stamped down...a fun technique to do with any alcohol markers.

This is on my blog right now but I used the TouchTwins to color on cream denim..I stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento ink.  I love VersaCraft inks as well on fabric, they are made for fabric and are washable AND work well with Copics & TouchTwins.  So if you are doing a fabric project that would be washed I'd use the VersaCraft ink..it was originally made for quilters.  Just another fun way to use the markers.

Its also the current TouchTwin Challenge...color on fabric in some way with your markers and then put on a card/project!   You can see the DT work HERE and how to join in.  You can win 12 markers...so get on it LOL!

Miss Suzanne, when you get the chance, I'd really appreciate it if you point me in the direction of a good yellow/orange and also a deep orange combo. (I wonder if these markers would work in the airbrush system.)

Thanks a million...

I like YR25,YR26 and R131 and then also YR132,YR133, BR107 are good together for skin tones Chris.

Thanks Suzanne:) I want to try some skin tones ( I think some of my copic ones look orangy) can you recommend some colors to try first?

Comment by Suzanne Dean on September 10, 2012 at 5:51pm

Yes Chris the TouchTwins can be used together with Copics and ProMarkers...they will blend together which is the cool thing about alcohol markers :)

Can the twin touch be used in same image as copic?
