Welcome to the Newest CMC Group--open to everyone to share!!

I started out my papercrafting hobby 16 years ago with scrapbooking. Yep way back when there were just stickers, some paper & decorative scissors LOL! I quickly moved to digi scrapbooking as I could get them done faster but I never lost the love of journaling and scrapbooking entirely as I moved over to cardmaking. So along came Smash Books earlier this year--a fun, quicker way to scrapbook your life and journal as well. I was hooked and bought everything....but.....I have yet to get moving on my book about my travels. So someone suggest starting this group which I thought was a fantastic idea and a way to motivate ME & perhaps others as well.

So this will be a fun place to talk about new products, share ideas & projects and make new friends!!

This group is for all those who love making Smash Books, Journaling, Altered Books & Scrapbooking lovers!!

May Challenge Area

We will do both a prompt and a picture inspiration this month! So use both if you'd like, be inspired by both and do your own thing!

Have fun sharing what makes you proud, fond memories or events that you LOVE thinking of and make you feel on top of the world--get crafty & creative!

UPLOADING TO GALLERY:

You can upload any project for this group to the main gallery---they do not have to be for the challenge. I want to see a gallery full of pages and ideas ok!

But please TAG all your photos for this group with "SMASH"

as the tag word when you upload! That way they can be searched & seen easily!! Thanks!

Here is a fun slideshow of some pages I helped my teen daughter make for her Smash Book that she gave to her BFF for Christmas. It was fun to do!

Calling All Teens!

If you have a teen that would like to participate they are more than welcome--my daughter will be doing a book alongside with us this year for a "teen's view" and have a special Discussion Area for teens where they can chat & share ideas or you can STEAL ideas from the teens LOL! Its all good!!

We need more involvement and I'm ready to start kicking this area up. So... what would inspire you to get moving on your books??? Suzanne is gonna do an online scrapping day in July but until then... let's shout out some things that will motivate us. :-)
