Cobbled Court Quilts Series

by Marie Bostwick

This book is on SALE AT AMAZON (link above) for only $2.51!!

I started reading this series as I recovered from my own surgery dealing with breast cancer.  The theme of the books is not breast cancer though so don't worry LOL! I've read all but the last one in this series which I'm starting tonight and they've been excellent and enjoyable reads. Not heavy or depressing reads at all but about the power of women, friends and life changes.  Hope you enjoy them too!

Marie Bostwick weaves the unforgettable story of four very different women whose paths cross, changing their lives forever. . . .

Other Good Reads if you need suggestions:

they are available for Kindle, Nook and in real book style (lol)

WELCOME!!!  If you love books and reading AND love to craft then this group is for you. I dreamed it up a bit ago because these are both my favorite hobbies and whenever I have time you find me doing one or the other--so why not combine the two?

We will read a NEW book every month (the first of every month will be our New Book Announcement) and have discussions and chatter at the group during that time about the book selection and just about crafting and reading.  You can share books you like, recommend or hated with us all-----we want to hear!

We will also have a Book Party will be the first of each month and we will talk about the book, and giveaway some fun prizes. You can attend the party and join the group EVEN if you don't finish/read the book --everyone is welcome!

Joy I read that book and one other about Wallis...they were very interesting indeed and she was quite the woman for back then and even now.  Right now I'm reading a biography about Kick Kennedy....JFK's favorite sister that had an affair with a  married man and how they died in a plane crash. Her mother wouldn't permit her to be buried in the US or for anyone to go to the funeral because she was "disgraceful" for carrying on with a married man. And here her husband (Rose's) had 100 affairs....crazy!  Another good read is the Kennedy Women...makes you understand the family more. Both books are only available in paperback though.

Looking forward to starting Joy is for Beginners.  Right now Im reading "That Woman, the life of Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor" by A. Sebba.  I find her so interesting.  I was lucky enough to be able to bid on some of her jewelry years ago at an auction.  Quite a collection she had.  She was an intriguing woman.

Rose Mary---the Tradd Street books (3) are a series so I definitely recommend reading them in order as the same woman is in all three and carries on with the story...otherwise it would be confusing.  Happy Reading!

Comment by Rose Mary Martin on January 8, 2014 at 12:56pm

Suzanne, does the 3rd Tradd Street book stand on it's own, or do you recommend reading them all in order, too? Looking forward to "catching up" after a huge hiatus.
