WELCOME!!! If you love books and reading AND love to craft then this group is for you. I dreamed it up a bit ago because these are both my favorite hobbies and whenever I have time you find me doing one or the other--so why not combine the two?

We will read a NEW book every month (the first of every month will be our New Book Announcement) and have discussions and chatter at the group during that time about the book selection and just about crafting and reading. You can share books you like, recommend or hated with us all-----we want to hear!

We will also have a Book Party will be the first of each month and we will talk about the book, and giveaway some fun prizes. You can attend the party and join the group EVEN if you don't finish/read the book --everyone is welcome!

I see you mentioned it's The Voice finale tonight. Please please don't mention the winner in your blog tomorrow lol, or if you do warn us not to read on if we don't want to know the winner. We've only got to the first live show after the battle rounds, so still got a way to go before the end. Last time I saw who the winner was 'cause I saw you had a photo taken with him at the show or conference you went to. I had to keep my mouth zipped. We will have our Book Chat tomorrow evening...I had hoped to do it tonight but the hockey game is on at 7:30 pm and my family will KILL me if I'm not screaming and watching it with them LOL. This is semi-finals for Stanley Cup and we are HUGE Washington Capital fans...so I apologize for that.

So tomorrow at 7:45 pm EST we will Chat, have some prizes and reveal the next book as well! So bear with me!

Comment by Joy Hadden on April 28, 2012 at 2:41pm: Fantastic book. I love how the stories run parallel. I've wondered if the author is trying to draw a parallel between the prejudices of the Nazi's and current feelings about immigrants. Makes me a little more aware of my own feelings.

Comment by Suzanne Dean on April 28, 2012 at 1:33pm: I know Mary Ann...I've read a ton of books on World War II and Nazis and Germany over the years but I've NEVER heard of that program either...truly disgusting and evil. I thought it was well written too, I really enjoyed it and thought it was a much different view of the War during that time then some of the other books I read, very interesting!
